The 2017 import peak season is upon us. On the sea freight side space issues and short validity rates are common. We have managed to secure space ex Asia for clients that hadn’t been able to with other freight forwarders – so if you do have an urgent shipment let us know and we can look at the options for you.

On the air freight side there is still capacity into Australia, but bookings can take days to come through. Air freight ex China to USA and Africa have been very tight, so best to get those bookings in early.

We expect the peak season to last until the 2018 Chinese New Year, with exports building from Christmas on.
